Shopping and hair cut

Monday is the day when Sonya the House Pixie comes, and since I am asocial, I always try to be off as early as possible. First I went to buy new headphones. This time it’s Philips:

10 bucks at Amason, 10 euro here in Moscow (350 roubles). Then I went to Camille Albane - it’ been 2 months that I hadn’t had a haircut. Pretty but expensive (1700 roubles). Then I walked to Tverskaya and ate sushi at Yaposhka. Actually the name of the place is a pejorative word for “Japanese”, I wonder why japanese embassy doesn’t make any protests. A friend of mine who is a japanese-russian translator, sometimes refers to her clients as “yellow-tubbies”. How do they call us? I will ask her, she might know. Waiting for my sushi, I started to read Tao: The Watercourse Way by Alan Watts. My friend B gave me it when we were visiting his mom in Ostia.

Then I spent some time in Respublica book shop, but without any success. They have nice paper notebooks, but $30-50 for a notebook is a bit too much. Moreover I promised myself not to buy any notebooks until I finish all that I have at home. I think 3 or 4 left. Also I tried to find a book about how to draw (”Teach yourself”-style), but the choice was very poor.
